By default, when we delete files or folders in Windows 10, they are not deleted but instead are sent to the recycle bin. It is from the recycle bin where the files will be deleted if we use the delete file function again. However, Windows 10 incorporates the possibility of automatically deleting files or folders without going through the recycle bin.

When we delete a file in Windows 10, it will be preserved until you delete it from the recycle bin or until the bin is emptied (manually or automatically). However, there are many users who do not want to skip that step so that when a file or folder is deleted, it is automatically deleted without going through the recycle bin.
However, we must bear in mind that if we permanently delete a file without it going through the recycle bin, in theory this operation is not reversible. That is, if we delete a file without sending it to the recycle bin, it cannot be recovered.

How to delete files from Windows 10 directly without going through the recycle bin.
1. Right click on the recycle bin icon.
2. In the drop-down menu, select the option: Properties
3. This will open a new window in which you will have to check the option box: Do not move files to the Recycle Bin. Remove immediately deleted files.
4. Finally, for the changes to take effect you will have to click on To accept.
5. From now on, when you delete a file or folder from Windows 10, it will not go through the trash but will be automatically deleted.

Use shortcuts to delete files and folders directly without going through the Windows 10 recycle bin.
This method in which a keyboard shortcut is used makes it the simplest as well as allowing the other delete functions that involve sending those files to the recycle bin to continue to be used.
2. To do this, simply select one or more files, for followed line use the keyboard shortcut: Shift / Shift + Delete / Delete
3. After using this shortcut and confirming the action, this file will be automatically deleted without it being sent to the Recycle Bin.
