The Task Manager is a very important and useful component of the Windows 10 operating system. The general key with the name “TaskManager”Stores all the Task Manager settings such as window size, location, custom options, and more. This key contains a binary value called “Preferences“which stores all the settings related to the Task Manager.
Therefore, to reset the Task Manager, we only need to delete the key “TaskManager”. Once we remove the Task Manager key, Windows will forget the Task Manager settings and when you start Task Manager again, it will start it again in compact mode and without any customization.
To delete the password from Task Manager, select the password and press the Delete key on your keyboard. Don’t worry, now as soon as you start the Task Manager, Windows will re-create the new key in the Registry.
