Tinder not working? Can’t log in? For some time now, Tinder servers have suffered a multitude of drops each month. Some users even claim to have been banned from the app for unknown reasons, not to mention the presence of errors that prevent login with the regular user. For all these cases, there is no one-size-fits-all solution, so we are forced to resort to a series of methods to fix all Tinder errors for Android and iOS.
Check that Tinder is not down in your country
As we mentioned at the beginning of the article, Tinder servers experience constant crashes. This ends up leading to connection issues with the app.
The easiest way to verify the integrity of the platform is based on go to the website Downdetector.es. This website serves as a “cookie” for dozens of applications and platforms. We can also use Twitter for a short search.
Go to Tinder.com
Did you know that Tinder has a web page from which you can perform the same actions as in the mobile app? It’s like that. Simply access the platform from this link and log in with our Tinder username and password. The web will automatically show us an interface very similar to that of the application.
The ideal in this case is use a computer or tablet, although it is also accessible from a phone. If the web generates an error, it’s likely that the service has experienced a general crash.
Reset your user’s access to Tinder
Sometimes the issues accessing Tinder is related to some kind of conflict with the email or phone we used to sign up for the app. The simplest solution is based on re-establishing access through the platform options. Enough with click on Unable to connect? to use another access method, which generally corresponds to access to e-mails.
Clear app cache and data
Access problems may come directly from the application. To exclude any kind of conflict, we can delete the Tinder data and cache through the system options.
On Android, this process is as easy as going to Settings / Applications and selecting Tinder. Finally We will click on Storage and finally on Clear cache and Clear data. Another equally valid option is to reinstall the app through Google and Apple Store removing all cached data.
Get an older (or newer) version of Tinder
It doesn’t all depend on Tinder servers. The public version of the app may not be fully compatible with our phone or may have an error. The solution in both cases is to use an older or newer version of Tinder.
On Android mobiles we can use sites like Uptodown to download an alternative APK. Due to system limitations, iOS does not support installing apps from external sources.
And if none of these solutions work …
Then Tinder probably banned us from the platform for violating the conditions of use of the social network. Either by sharing explicit content, uttering insults or any type of action that does not comply with the rules of the Tinder community. The alternative to this veto is to use a new user as long as we are committed to respecting the basic rules of coexistence of the match app.
