Like any third-party app, Instagram is not foolproof. While this usually doesn’t show any issues with operation, the truth is that for some time now, few users have been reporting errors with intentions similar to “Instagram does not open”, “goes blank” or “Instagram white screen”. The resolution of this problem depends on the origin of the error, and this time we will try to solve the problem by three easy methods.
Your Wi-Fi or data plan may be the cause
If you visit this page, you probably have no problem with your WiFi connection. But what about 3G / 4G / 5G data?
Nothing like check the amount of data consumed during the month in the on-call operator’s application valid. If we’ve exhausted all the gigs, it’s likely that our phone company has limited the internet speed, so the Instagram feed won’t load.
Restarting can always be the solution
A more than obvious but maybe not so popular solution is to restart the mobile. Have you tried turning the phone off for 30 seconds and then turning it back on? It is likely that all the evils of Instagram have disappeared with the ignition of the smartphone.
The technical explanation is that the application cache is cleaned, as well as the background processes it can generate a kind of conflict.
Verify that Instagram is not down
Are you sure the error is from the app? Currently, many pages collect the status of Instagram servers by reporting users. Descent detector is one of the best pages in this regard, and you only have to take a look around the web to verify that, indeed, Instagram is down (or not).
If so, we’ll have to wait for the servers to recover from the crash, as it happened last week in Spain and much of Europe.
Sign out of Instagram and delete app data
If the problem is not with the Instagram servers, but with the application itself, we will have to resort to erasing all traces of it on the phone.
The first thing that we will have to do, first of all, is to delete the Instagram user account. As easy as going to Instagram settings through the side menu found by swiping our profile to the left. Once inside, We will click on Quit and Instagram will automatically delete our account from the app, not from your servers.
The next step to erase Instagram data completely is to go to Android settings; specifically in the Applications section. Inside Instagram We will click on Storage and finally on Clear storage and Clear cache.
With this we will delete all the information of the application in the mobile. Finally, we will restart the app with our usual user data.
Or reinstall the Instagram APK
If none of the above worked, it’s time to reinstall Instagram. As it is likely that this error is due to a bug in a version present in Google Play, the best way to fix the white screen issue on Instagram is install the APK from an external page.
APK Mirror is the page we will use in this case. Once inside, we will download the latest version of the app and access the security settings in the Android Settings app. Second act, we will enable the option to install apps from unknown sources.
Now we can reinstall the app, not without first uninstalling the installed version of Instagram on the mobile.
