Today, the internet hides many risks, especially in terms of content, since many sensational websites write and show tutorials with the sole objective of achieving the user’s click; hiding the real content that has nothing to do with what said user is looking for. Precisely to avoid this type of situation, Google has just launched a new extension called Google Results Previewer that allows users to preview Webs from search results without having to access it.

Surely on more than one occasion when you have made a search in Google through the Chrome browser, you have hesitated to click on a website because you do not know if said website can offer you the appropriate content and according to what you are looking for. Also, if we consider malicious websites that try to deceive the user, clicking on a wrong search result can be a mistake to regret.
Well, to avoid this type of situation, Google has just launched a new extension for the Google Chrome browser, which allows users to preview the Web pages of the search results offered before clicking on them to access them in a direct.
As you already know, when we do a search on Google, the information we obtain is quite basic, since it only shows: Title, Short Description and part of the URL. This is not always enough to know if the Web to which you will be redirected has the information you are looking for. In addition, these parameters can be falsified by the Web administrator so they can indicate something different from what is really hidden inside.
Google Results Previewer is the extension that will allow you to preview the original content of the Web beyond its title and description, without having to access them. However, it should be noted that at the moment, the extension only works in the search results of google.com and not in the other subdomains of Google. Here’s how to install and use the new Google Results Previewer extension:
How to access the preview of Webs from Google search results from Chrome.
– As is evident, the first thing will be to download and install the Google Results Previewer extension in your Google Chrome browser, which you can do from the following link: Download and install Google Results Previewer from the official Store.
– Once the extension is installed, you must access the search engine Google com. From here you can use the search term you want (keywords).
– After searching on Google with the desired keywords, the search results will be displayed. With the extension installed in Chrome, you just have to hover the mouse cursor over any of the search results displayed.
– This will cause a small window to be displayed in the lower right part of the Google Chrome interface that shows the Web that you are about to access. As if that were not enough, you can also browse this preview of the Web since you can scroll down and up to view all the content of the Web.
Without a doubt, the Google Results Previewer extension is a great function that we hope will soon also be able to be used in the search results of Google subdomains or even that the Web preview will be incorporated as a native function of the Google Chrome browser.
