One of the world’s most used social networks, Instagram, appears to be having trouble connecting. As we can see on the downdetector site, where we can check the status of Internet services and applications, Instagram is having connection problems today, Thursday, May 10, from 2:17 p.m.
55% of those who reported issues with their Instagram account report connection issues. They cannot access the page with their account, so the app is currently disabled for them. The remaining 44% said they had problems updating their contacts’ photo wall. According to Downdetector’s live fault map, the areas most affected by the Instagram crash in our country are Madrid and Barcelona. As for the rest of Europe, the main failures are concentrated in the main capitals of the continent such as Paris or Rome.
If you’re having trouble with Instagram in the above terms, don’t despair. It’s only a matter of time before the situation is settled and you can review the stories and photos of your favorite contacts. If for some reason you still cannot enter, check if it’s a problem with the app or your phone, by doing the following:
Enter the settings menu and in the apps section search for Instagram and clear cache and data.
If it still doesn’t work, try uninstalling and reinstalling it
Another solution may be to close the app from the recent apps menu or restart the phone
Although Instagram fails, you can take this opportunity to find out a little more about best tips for taking better photos in the social network or how to use the tools to have more followers.
